HfH-VC is holding its 2nd Annual Ride the Bosque Trail on Saturday, September 26 at 9:30 AM.  Registration starts at 8:00 AM.  The ride will proceed north from Los Lunas along the east side of the Rio Grande to Isleta Lakes.  This beautiful 10 mile ride is rarely open to the general public and should be enjoyed by everyone.  The Pueblo of Isleta is graciously opening their land for this event.  At the end of the ride there will be food and drinks.  Water to be provided along the trail for horses.

Staging area will be on the north/east side of the Main Street bridge in Los Lunas.  There will be parking available at the staging area for your trailers or you may have someone drive it to Isleta Lakes.  There will be shuttle service from Isleta Lakes back to Los Lunas.  A veterinarian will be on call.

The registration fee for the event is $50.00 per rider or you may collect pledges equal to or exceeding that amount.  You may pick up a registration/pledge forms at local feed stores around Valencia County.  There is also the opportunity to be a sponser of this event.  Three levels of sponsership are available:
1) Stirrup sponser: $250.00
2) Bridle sponser:   $500.00
3) Saddle sponser: $1,000.00    

All proceeds assist Habitat for Humanity of Valencia County to build affordable housing for families in Valencia County.  

So come on down and stirrup some fun and help good things happen in Valencia County.

All Habitat of Valencia County donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law and will be acknowledged with a letter you may use for those purposes. Gifts made on-line are safe, thanks to our secure-server capability and will be put to good use by Habitat. We take seriously our responsibility to contributors, to those counting on our help to be wise stewards of funds entrusted to us.

We raise all our funds locally and receive no funding from Habitat for Humanity International.  We support the efforts of Habitat for Humanity International by tithing 10% of all donations, unless the donation is restricted to be used in Valencia County County.
